What's Happening?
We have a busy busy autumn! We will be exhibiting all over the region with Historic and Contemporary Pottery and Christy will be showing off a couple of her finest pieces in a juried show at the Foundry. Check out the links below to find out where we will be.
August 27- October 8 Painting: The Artful Palette. Christy has two of her works that were juried into the Main Gallery at the
Foundry Art Centre. It is always an honor to have work selected but it is a special pleasure to exhibit at the Foundry where we were studio artists for four years and to receive a $125 Juror's Award for
April in Yellow, left.
Sept. 4-6 -- What are you doing this Labor Day Weekend? Why don't you drive up the Great River Road to the
Victorian Festival in Jersey County, IL? This has been rated as one of the top ten festivals in the Midwest by AAA. We will be there with canvas and Early American Pottery. Hope to see you there.
Sept 18,19 -- It's always a homecoming for us to return to
Pioneer Days at Boonesfield Village in Defiance, MO. We spent many years wonderful demonstrating the creation of early American redware and although we can't volunteer our weekends anymore, it is a great joy to participate in Pioneer Days. This is
definitely worth the drive, folks.
Sept. 24-26 -- visit us at The Meadows of Lake Saint Louis where we will be included with some of the finest art and fine crafts in the Midwest at the
Art Fair on the Meadows. We will be exhibiting our contemporary ceramics that include Tim's Handled Pots and sculptural pieces, too
Oct. 16, 17th --
Deutsch Country Days is undoubtedly one of the finest cultural festivals in the Midwest. The weather is gorgeous, the air is filled with the smell of wood fires and the foliage is always at its PEAK. Come join us as we celebrate German heritage crafts and traditions of the mid 19th century.
